Can you handle the engineering and plan review?

We coordinate with structural engineers and submit plans for permit and inspection. On most jobs we have a working relationship with the engineer of record.

How do you handle existing-to-new tie-ins?

Carefully — and with the engineer's blessing. We expose enough existing structure to verify the tie-in approach, properly flash and weather-seal the connection, and never leave a telegraph crack waiting to happen.

Are your framers W-2 employees or subcontractors?

Our framing crew is in-house and W-2. Same faces every day, same standard every job, and full workers' comp coverage on every body on site.

We frame like we're going to be the finish carpenter. Walls plumb to 1/8". Headers sized to the plan. Hangers, ties, and Simpson hardware exactly where the engineer drew them.
